THANK YOU for your interest in contributing financially to the success of BAIDO. Your investment will help continue our vital mission of promoting the public’s understanding of -- and involvement in -- the challenges facing people globally.

BAIDO is highly cost-effective. A large proportion of BAIDO’s work is performed by our highly skilled volunteer team. So your investments go much farther than they otherwise would!

Why Support an NGO Collaboration like BAIDO?

BAIDO is providing a national model for how NGOs can work together to form a dynamic hub that educates and activates the public and press about grassroots solutions to global poverty. Americans are becoming increasingly eager to discuss how they have the power to make a positive impact on the "global village." With a network like BAIDO, even people not yet involved with these issues can easily learn about and join grassroots global movements.

BAIDO's Financial Status

Since 2000 over 100 volunteers have built BAIDO on a budget of $5-$10,000 per year (from membership fees, three foundations, event and workshop fees, and visionary individual donors). We have also received over $1,000 worth of in-kind donations. For every $1 we have spent, we’ve leveraged over $7 in volunteer time or in-kind donations. The organization’s 2004 budget is significantly larger, due to extensive fundraising to implement our 2004-2006 Strategic Plan.
